i just got some new ram for my compuiter and now, whenever i start up 3d studio max it goes all the way up until the program starts and then the whole computer freezes, forcing me to restart.
Can anyone help, has anyone had this problem before, I really need to get 3d studio max working with out taking the ram out.

tried reinstalling? you always check the official website to see if there are any patches you need.
what version are you using of max…I know if you have 5 you need a patch…and yes try reinstalling
Look at your 3ds max manual that came in the program box, oh wait, I don’t know one person that has a legal version of the program. 
I DO… I DO…Mine des not have anything on freezes
Take out your new stick of RAM. If it doesn’t freeze after you do that, you know the RAM stick is the problem, even though it passes the initial boot up check.
