This idea is nice, and we could do it even if Kirupa doesn’t want to use it. I mean, if we all do a crappy job, there’s no reason why he should take, is there?

Here’s what I thought! Each participant makes a static and animated version of his entry. Static should be in JPG or PNG format. Animated should be in done in Flash. The final entry should be at most 200x200 square for posting in the forums. All entries should represent kirupa.com’s SOTW theme. Also the static and the animated designs should be less that 15kb and must be the same!

So I hope this becomes a battle soon. And maybe we could see the winning entries on SOTW!
PS. We could ask the mods to have 3 winners for this battle? :-\

lets bug a mod to make it official! does each consestent have to enter a static and an animated one? cause i think that would be good, like if a SOTW winner likes the static version of the animated one, he should be able to have it no? well lets just see. can we have a date in lets say early august? and can we use 3d proggies?
Yeah each participant should submit 2 entries static and dynamic. I think we could start this battle when a mod recognizes it. They can then set additional rules and the date… I hope soon!
