Adding video clip to my flash site

Hi I was wondering if it would be possible to add camcorder footage to my flash website, if it is possible how would this be achieved?

You’ll need to convert your footage to a file format that flash supports. I belive AVI and MOV are the 2 flash mx supports.

I recommend using MOV (Quicktime)… its better quality and MX has the built in Sorenson plugin which ensures high quality and low file sizes… :toad:

File>Import>yourfile.mov :slight_smile:

Also another thing to remember is to set the sorenson spark quality to about 90%, it will still maintain a fairly good movie quality and knock off some kbs to keep the file sizes optimized.
