And there we go. I may still put in an ASP driven Calendar of Events, but this is essentially the site.

The little roll over bubbles are almost impossible to read…

Nice job bluetuna!

I agree with morse on the rollover bubbles though.

it a good looking site you’ve got there… i love it

I’m running 1960x1440 and I can read the bubbles. If you’re at 1024 or even 1280, you should be able to read the bubbles just fine. Unless you have vision problems :stuck_out_tongue:

Im just curious, i think i saw that logo on some design contest website, i forgot the URL (designcontests.com or something)… Im just curious, how much did u get paided… it looks GREAT but I was just wondering if you got ripped off.

Mike

P.S.
I was looking at your portfolio site and really like ur illustrations… are those all illustrator/vector images. Did you just use the pen tool? With that one mario illustration what did u use to make those cubes? I REALLY LIKE THEM.

looks good, but the bubble text looks like it isn’t on an even numbered coordinate - thus making it blurry.

oh yeah… in order that small fonts don’t get blurred, their X and Y location must me whole numbers… not 9.5 or 5.3 but 10 or 6

im at 1152x864 and I can only read every other word or so.

I’ll increase the font over the next few days. There’s a reason for this forum, and if that many users are having issues, then it needs to be resolved. Changing the font is currently what I’m thinking of.

Thanks for the feedback.

Could you please find the site that has the logo on it? That logo has a LONG history for me, so I have no doubts whatsoever it’s mine:

2000 - Working at Whisperwire in Austin, Texas as the Lead Designer, I was able to convince the VP of Marketing, William Chan, to let me redesign the company’s logo. I did over 50 different logos, many completely non-objective. This was one of them, as was the “cubestick” I use as my logo.

In 2003 - I and others were laid of from Whisperwire in November 2002, and I was looking for a job. A company named Kilmist (www.kilmist.com) in Austin was looking for a Graphic Designer. Their site was extremely poor, their logo from the Disco era, and their identity was a mess. So, to try and get some attention from them, I did mockups for a website, logo, business cards, and letterhead. Sent it to them, and never heard a word. I couldn’t even get the company on the phone.

2004 - After working on the Aladdin logo, the owner (a great guy named Ted O’Connor) wanted something less representational, more like my bleutuna.com logo. Immediately, this glyph came to mind, since I loved it (it was almost the bleutuna.com logo), and had wanted to get it ingratiated into a company. Logos are like children, you want to see them do well. So I implemented this logo for Aladdin, and Ted loved it. So it found a home.

So yeah, if you could think of the site you saw the work on, I’d be much appreciative!

Thanks!

lower the button sounds, cause i had my headphones on, and it like… hurt, so i had to turn it down very low, almost so low that i couldnt here the music… is that just me?
