Many administration officials agree that the government’s broad strategy to counter terrorism must include vigorous and creative propaganda to change the negative view of America held in many countries.
LMAO LMAO LMAO LMAO …does anyone else not find this funny??? :bad: how ironically stupid it is, its stunning and yet i bet there morons out there who are like hmmmmm this makes sense!!! :cowboy:
i got the story from yahoo check it out ------> HERE
and why the hell is senator Lott still in the senate? we all know he thinks women and colored people are inferior and no apologies are going to make up for it. its similar to the catholic church mess with the priests destroying lives of children going unpunished for years. i understand they didn’t want to bend to the whim of the public but how can someone who violates little children be given such a high place in the church hierarchy? Persoanlly, i think most of the religions have been infiltrated by radicals/spies who distrort AND twist the truth of the religion to fit their own needs.
its no coincidence racial tensions are accelerating so rapidly during this time period. it is orchestrated to turn one race against another as it is easiest to conquer an enemy by fear and using the simple technique of divide and conquer.
“Kissinger is synonymous not only with Vietnam, but with bloody and illegal operations by the US military and intelligence services all over the world: the secret bombing of Cambodia, the CIA-backed military coup in Chile, and close relations with barbaric military dictatorships from Indonesia to Pakistan to Greece and throughout Latin America.”
Lott is still in the Senate for the same reason Earl Hilliard was never kicked out. Hilliard (an Alabama rep) is openly racist toward white people and even refuses to respond with letters to people who are white. He went to Libya (its against the law for a U.S. citizen to go there) and insulted the U.S. government. Yet he was elected and it’s tough to kick someone out of office because you don’t like them if they were elected by “We the people”
we are told that this is a democracy…but is it really? DO the people choose who is elected? Here is a little bit of interesting histrory. Al Gore won the popular vote in 2000. The people voted for gore. The electoral college voted for Bush.
go back to bed america, your government is in control…
I don’t know what you mean by the electoral college influencing the government. In most states, the people vote for electors who promise to vote for X candidate. So when you voted for George Bush, you actually voted for John Smith who promised when he was elected to the electoral college to vote for George Bush.
The only way I can think of them influencing the government is that the more votes a President wins by, the higher his mandate. So if he gets 100% of the vote, the Congressmen know the people like him and will pass more of his stuff than if he got 50.01% (of <50%) of the vote.
Electoral College Representatives can vote for who they choose. More often than not, they vote for the most popular canidate in their district, according to the voters. Just understand that they do not have to vote for for the popular choice.
OH yeah, and our congress can vote for its own pay raises, whenever they feel like it!! God Bless America!
EDIT: I may or may not have as clear as understanding of this as i thought. I was recalling knowledge from my senior year civics class, so forgive me if im a little off.
here is a link that might clarify this whole Electoral College thing.
We’ve got an issue over here where the MP’s awarded themselves a 40% payrise, then when the firemen asked for a raise, the Government said “don’t know about that, we’ll give you 2% if you change your way of working”.
