Was he related to the person who died?

nope

more than one peole died(besides him)?

yup

the person(s) who died was from his family?

no

he was the murderer?

I cannot answer this with yes or no

Didn’t he say ask 1 questions

yes… but I don’t think it really matters

Does the window look outside?

yes

Well it was a good question. Mabye the window looked into a another room or something:)

Did he kill someone by turn out the light?

Based upon the questions already asked I will say…

The man lived in a lighthouse, it was foggy he turned out the light (the big one on top) and there was a ship that crashed due to the light being out and he saw the people drowing (Or already drowned), and then killed himself.

Was I right?

you have the book!

niann is da winner. Good job. And some good questions all around.

quicker than I would have thought too.

Well the next one wont be until tomarrow at best. I’m going out to party tonight… and gonna be hanging with the bro’s tomarrow.

I don’t have the book, I happen to really like riddles.

So there… =)

Cheers!

So based on that people died and he looked out the window and killed himself you got that answer.

I HIGHLY DOUBT THAT… CHEATER!!!

Thats waht sucks about doing it this way. Ypu can’t tell if someone is cheating. I guess the hounor system is what we have to go with.

So, in the future I should answer incorrectly to avoid being labeled a cheater? That hardly seems fair… Sorry thought I was doing the right thing by giving it a go. shrug

When else would turing a light off kill anybody? None that I can think of. Flipping a switch certainly could, but it was never stated that he flipped a switch, just that he turned the light off. I read everyone’s questions carefully and David’s answer to them, why would I feel the need to ask them again. There were some excellent questions, all it took from that point was putting the clues together.

  1. People died (More than one)
  2. The light was on when he work up, he never turned it on so it was on the entire time. (Why would a light be on while you were sleeping if not to illuminate something? Also the only lights left on at night are generally to warn of something, or make apparent a danger of some sort. Besides streetlights and signs and the sort, which is not something I thought of untill now.)
  3. Turning the light off casued an event that caused people to die. (It was his fault, his direct action that caused whatever happened to kill all the people.)
  4. He did not know any of the victems. (This voids the personal tradigdy theory.)
  5. The window looks outside. (So something of a large scale, at least I thought so)

I don’t think you cheated either for what it’s worth. A person who is in the right frame of mind, having knowledge of those questions asked, should not have a problem getting the answer. Sometimes people just stumble upon the right train of logic.

Take the ribs with a grain of salt niann… they’re just jelous of your brain.

hey man… read the posts. I said niann was the winner.
