ok i allways like riddles when im bored… so why dont we have a thread where people can say there riddles until someone guesses it and then another one can post a riddle… here ill start… you walk into a room with 2 doors and 2 people. 1 door goes to heaven and 1 goes to hell. 1 person is a lier and on person tells the truth (tho you dont know which is which). what question will you ask both (only 1 question) to find out which door leads to heaven…

You ask both people:

which door will the other person say leads to heaven?

The truthful person knows his counterpart will point to the door leading to hell.

The liar will also point to the door leading to hell.

So you take the one that they don’t point too.

(alternatively, you could’ve also asked which door the other person will say leads to hell and taken that door).

Or:

1.) Ask the first person which door leads to heaven
2.) Ask the second person if he’s a liar.

If the second person says he is, you’ll know the other isn’t and the door he pointed at leads to heaven. If the second person says he isn’t, then you’ll know the other one 's the liar and the door he pointed at leads to hell.

Ok, next riddle.

You have 3 ropes, in different sizes and material. You know that each rope burns for 1 hour, but not equaly: one part of the rope could burn faster, the other slower … you don’t know, because they’re made of different materials.

How do you make the ropes burn for exactly 1u45mins ? You may not cut the ropes, attach them to another, … You also do not have a chronometer nor time indication.
