I just found out that the third page in the thread about RIAA caused my browser to freeze. It was caused by VisualAID’s footer not loading - I commented out his footer, put the violation footer, and everything is working now…in that thread 
I’ve just had a thought.
Nothing major or serious or anything, but I’m curious (ie: nosey). In the Who’s Online page, you can see people ‘Viewing Profile of a Forum Member’.
What I’m wondering is, is there a way that we can see in that line who’s profile they’re viewing?
Enquiring minds, yadda yadda yadda…

Oh come on Thor! I’m shocked that you would even suggest such a thing. Honestly, I figured you to be more deviant than that. I was thinking along the lines of actually reading their private messages.
For example, I noticed fluid_0ne was “Using the Private Messaging System.” In the interests of security, I think we should find out to whom and what his message was. All of it will be done without his knowing of course

btw, how is vB3 coming along? is it still in beta?
Yeah vB3 is still in Beta 4, and I haven’t looked at it since because any subsequent beta revision overwrites all the older files…thus making any hacks like Quick Reply useless unless I re-install it.
I’m going to wait till vB3 gets released, and around Christmas when I have plenty of time, get all the hacks and stuff assembled and move over to the new version. I don’t want to have to suffer without some of the cool features like non-random smilies, the improved who’s online, better mod tools, etc. that we enjoy in 2.3

I am guessing it is T-Os footer. He uses the snow effect and posted multiple times in the the thread.
I removed his footer and am going to check now…

After removing T-Os footer the thread doesn’t lock up for me anymore.
yeah - some footers are really CPU intensive and cause random freezes and locks.
Rev - when you get a chance, check out the Wind style using IE and tell me if you are seeing the annoying shift. I modified something that may solve that problem you, and I am certain, a few others may be having :rambo:
I sent T-O a PM explaining why his footer was removed. Just letting everyone know so no one else does it.
