been working on a site for someone who is offering a bed&breakfast at the belgian coast. the site is almost finished now, just don’t mind the photo’s, they’re just temporary.
so if you have some time to spare, just take a look and tell me what you think of it

I’m not too fond of the font you chose to use. I mean it’s okay for the title, but as for body text, I would use a more readable font like arial or verdana because you want the vewiers to read the information easily.
Also the loading time is a bit long for such a small site. You might want to find a way to reduce the loading time. I’m on a fast connection so I can’t imagine how long 56k users have to wait.
Other than those things, it’s a good start. =)

the font is fine. Nice background. I would fix the brid flying animation.
The font is not fine, if I was a customer visiting that site, I would not stay long since it’s too hard to read the content.

thanks all for your replies, i notice the font is raising very different opinions. I’m gonna present two versions and just let the client decide. About the photo’s, i’m gonna go there next week to take other good quality final pictures.
I’ve lowered the filesize to 160k instead of the 250k before, is this more acceptable for telephone users?
i’ve always had cable so i don’t really have any idea how long it takes, and what’s annoying or not
dreamer: any suggestions about the bird animation?

Jkm, what would be easier to read, a newspaper article with the font used on that site or times new roman?

I like tha font dude. That’s my opinion. Sorry ya got ill over somebody simply disagreeing. Sorry bro, ya can’t tell someone they can’t read a font when they can. Maybe Times New roman is played out…
I have no problem with the font as a title or header, it’s a display font so it’s suitable for that purpose.
Anyone who has been designing for awhile will know that display fonts don’t work well when used as body text.
I never said that it’s impossible to read, it just takes more concentration to get the information.
You can disagree with me all you won’t, but I’m trying to help Kaebin out because this isn’t a personal site, it’s a client site which is more important.
If it was a personal site, I wouldnt stress on the font issue as much.

I am also trying to help. I am honestly saying that if I were a customer I would - in fact- stay and view the site. But I am just some guy…(possibly a customer)
I think that the font acually looks good.
All in the same, we are both trying to help.
