the only thing i like are the transitions. ripping corporate logos doesn’t show any skill. your quotes on the right side are really out of place and meaningless. i’m not sure whether you meant for this site to be funny or not…
it seems like you are a lot more skilled and creative than what the site shows.

bwh2, the parody logos are just for fun. We gave the site a comfortable feel, so we thought some quotes would make sense. Thanks for the effort, but we’d really like some more constructive critism.
I’ll like the look but for some reason it just feels like Im looking at it though a toilet paper tube. Is it me or does it not flow with your eyes when you look across the page? I might be slow and a bit cross eyed but I didnt notice that the links on the far right had to do with the preview window on the left. It took a bit to connect the two… Yes, I eat paint chips…
OK, constructive crt here we go:
The parody of logos just isn’t working. Until you had to tell me you were using these logos as parody, I thought you were just ripping off the Taco Bell logo. I always think of a saying I heard about writing. “When you write, you have to write to the dumbest person imaginable, because most people won’t or aren’t able to make that leap into whatever hidden meaning you are trying to put across.” I apply that to design as well. And I just proved my own point by not getting your logo joke.
The transitions are nice, like mentioned above but the blue is too dark. Maybe add another color in there or a lighter version of the blue you have blue to give it a more balanced look. Setting it against a black background also makes the blue alot darker than I personally would like to see.
Maybe add some music. The site is very bare and minimal. But too barebones and minimal for my taste. I also don’t get a “comfortable feel” when I look at the site. Maybe add a faded out image to the background, I don;t know, but give it something.
The sites not bad, I just think it needs work and it could be alot better.
Yeah…I think that’s all I have to say. Hope some of that helps.
Well… hate to beat you in the head w/ this but, yea the logo… I dunno man… didn’t get parady off it. Anyway…
For the most part it’s a pretty solid site. I do think however the font is waaaaay to bland. I’m not sayin use some off the wall crazy font but I think use a font that has more roundness to it… it would give it a more fun feel. I also feel like there should be tweens w/ elasticity to it.
When I see this site it makes me think that it should be something like HomeStarRunner (best site in the world). Yet… it’s not very fun like I expected it to be. Maybe play around w/ the idea of making it more “childlike” and fun cause that’s sorta what it leads too, IMO.
If you’re sticking w/ the blue I’d suggest using more contrast… looks to bland. I also think you need something that will pop that blue away from the black BG.
