Well good evening everyone,
this is my first post as a registered member of this site and I thought I’d start with something that’s an issue close to my own heart. I’m a born-again Christian and have been for years, having been brought up in the Christian Church all my life I came to know the Lord early on in life. Since I was six or seven I had heard about the great event of the Pre-Tribulation Dispensationalist Rapture (or as I knew it then just “The Rapture”) and was very interested in these stories of what was still to come for our world. I knew a fair bit then but in the last six months I have again returned to a study of Christian Eschatology and I have to say that I knew nothing then compared to now.
Of late I’ve been looking at the events around me and been seeing how several last days prophecies appear to be coming to pass and I’m now believing that the day of our Lord’s triumphant return to claim his Church in the Rapture is near. After this as many of you may or may not know a great political leader will arise in the European Union, which will by then either be a Federal State or be closer than it is today (and we’re pretty close remember with a single currency and a proposed Constitution). This man will be the greatest, most charasmatic politician ever to grace the world stage, he will bring peace and unity to the Lord but this man seemingly from God is none but the Antichrist. He will after a time enforce a mark of loyalty upon every single living person under the sky that will bear the number of his name (which is 666 and this number is some how calculable from his name). This is called the Mark of the Beast and without it you’ll be unable to buy/sell or live any kind of life as a citizen plus you’ll also be arrested and executed by the blade of a guillotine - so you might think it’d be sensible to take the Mark but in fact it’s the biggest mistake you can make as in taking the Mark you pledge your allegiance to the Antichrist and will condemn yourself to eternal ****ation in the Lake of Fire after the 7 year Tribulation has ended with the Glorious Appearing of our Lord when he will decimate the 200 million man army gathered in the Valley of Megiddo in Israel (which is Hebrew is called Armageddon).
Pretty heavy stuff I hear you no doubt saying to yourself, that or you think I’m totally crazy but in fact this is exactly what the Bible says and today these prophecies are coming true. The European Union is moving towards Federalism, the 10 Nation Executive Permanent Assembly is likely the 10 Thorned Crown upon the Beast’s head in Revelation. The Mark of the Beast is also coming as today in the British Parliament the Queen announced in her annual opening of Parliament that the Government would legislate this year to introduce Identity Cards. I read and watched and even listened to ministers then explaining that it would start off voluntarily but would eventually become compulsory and that their aim was to have everyone carrying an identification mark on their skin. Now this is what the Mark is, an identification mark on your skin used for electronic funds transfer. So while I’ve been preparing for this for a while you can imagine that I was shocked this morning on the bus going into school to hear this.
Now I know all about the Brussels BEAST (Brussels Economic Accounting Surveillence Terminal) and how it will be the centre for running this mark based electronic funds transfer economy but I none the less was shocked to hear how blatantly clear the Bible is about everything. Now I believe in the infallability of the Bible as the word of God, as I’m a born-again Christian, but I was shocked that all this is happening and so clearly is pointed out in the Bible but yet people don’t seem to make the connection. Is it something only we Christians can see? I don’t know but I’d like to hear what YOU think.
I’m sure I’m in for a bit of abuse here accusing me of being a lunatic religious zealot but I promise you I’m not and that what I’m saying is believed by a majority of Christians. I know about the Post-Tribulation Rapture and even the Preterists who say everything in Revelation has already happened in AD 90 but I disagree completely as I’m a Dispensationalist. That’s what the Bible has taught me and I stick to it but please do chip in whatever you feel is relevant to the discussion here.
