how do u erase the black bkg from photoeditor in photoshop?
The easiest way is to use the magic wand selection tool, select the black and hit delete.
hm, most time that is not working, because shadow is most time black too 
you could go into quick mask mode and then color in your object… then leave quick mask mode and press ctrl shift i… which will invert your selection, and press delete
