CGI-script? Where to find?

I made a tutorial on another flash-site (link) and there it said i need a cgi-script to make my form work decently… Can anybody explain me what it does, and where can i find it? Thanks…

You need a cgi-script to make your form work…period. I use PHP for all that stuff. You can find a million threads on it here. Goto the search button at the top of this page next to the home button and put in ‘PHP email’ - that’s the easy way to do it.

I know that the easiest way to do this is by PHP, but as I am not that experienced in PHP (my lessons start in 2 weeks ), i made the whole thing in flash.
The script says: ‘loadVariablesNum(“http://url-to-the-cgi-script”)’.
So where can i get that cgi-script to upload to my webspace? Is it possible to take someones script and upload it to my webspace or not? Or do I need my own script? How does it work? (NOTE: I’m just learning, so I can assume this is a very silly question.) Hope somebody can help me out. Thanks.
