Right, well I’ve come pretty far but my beloved mouse has broken 
So until I get a new one (next 2 or 3 days) I guess this project wont be going anywhere on my end.
the rr design is awful to begin with, designed for the most basic of users (sometimes thats good, but not this time). It’s very slow to load even when in cache. mdipi>> i believe you could try the path tool in ps and then make a work path or selection of the path to finalize.
ps… everytime i see that **** rr anim i wanna smack him

edit: when you say no outside help does that mean I cannot take that pic in ps and use its shapes ??? if so please disregard my entry…
if you traced the shapes then i think thats cool, i would of done the same thing, i guess thats up to mike.
and btw looks nice you really got that emboss looking right.
actually to be a bit touchy i think i need to place the light source of the emboss a tad more on the left… the hardest part is actually finding the right fonts…
edit: i meant left, not right
at the second look at the og, i think the light source is coming from the top left. notice the curve highlight on the top left and there has also been some highlights added in between those rounded rectangular shapes.
My no outside help i mean you cant go to another forum and ask how to do this or that, no tutorials, no really asking - this should be pushing your limits, not those of someone telling you.

AS someone who is pretty good in Photoshop, I figured I’d try to build this with gradients in Flash. About halfway done… (why can’t we upload .swf’s?)
