How many are watching this? I loved the first installment miniseries “Dune”. I taped episode 1 of “Children of Dune” last night. I hope it’s as good as the first.

Herbert is way above any other SF writer i know… well maybe except asimov and hamilton…i read (<- hate that word, you never know if it’s read-red or read-reed) the ) all Dunes and i cant help but re-read them…sand worms, yummy…

I have read all of the Dune books… it was the first book I couldn’t put down at all (plus I was moving to the high alt. desert at the time I was reading it)…

DuneII? Hey I remember this one =) Even my father was playing this game. Yea, long long time ago… I was even more kid than now…
My VCR died a few months ago so I don’t have the option to tape it. I enjoyed the first part, and am looking forward to the rest.
One word of advice, only leave the room during commercial breaks or you’ll likely miss something important to the story later.
