First off I would like to welcome you to Kirupa and I hope you’ll stick around. =)
Now I’ll critique your site and please keep in mind that what I’m about to say is said to help you.
I’m not sure, but it looks like your site has Shadowness.com influence therefore it lacks color. The color scheme you have is really hard to work with and so far only Shadowness has been able to make it look nice.
I suggest maybe adding in color or add more detail to your graphics because they seem too plain for the color scheme you chose to use.
Also I’m not too fond of iframes, but that’s just me. It just seems a bit odd how you have it set up now, seems out of place.

I agree with electrongeek, in that I’m not 100% convinced about the grey colour scheme. Anime always seems bright and colourful, and the grey… well, doesn’t really.
Otherwise I like the site. It’s a nice layout and I found it was easy to get around. I like the anime pic in the corner as well, and you’ve got some nice little effects in there. Not too many, which is good, so you’re not overpowered.
You are going to lose alot of viewers with i-frames…netscape users will not be able to see them v6.0 below…But if you are shootin for ie then cool. Some of your text is pushed right to the edge of the i-frame not good in my opinion. I have an idea for the gray. U should put little splashes of color thru out. Like how you have the flashing thing when you mouseover the menu. It has color. Bring that color down into the site in small places. Like the bar separating the menu sections in the i-frame Those lil squares in there add that orangeish red there. Also if that anime character had a little color. Like just make the eyes a real penetrating blue. That will allow you to bring lil speckles of blue into the site. I think your site would be cool the way it is jsut add very small highlites of color. Sorry to be so long but for some reason when peeped your site my creative juices got flowin. But this is all my opinion. Pretty cool tho.

I actually like the greys. The only suggestion I would make would
be to use some kind of highlight color = red, blue, yellow…
Otherwise, I think it’s great! Not too many monochrome color
schemes in grey can be pulled off too well, but i think you have.
I agree with the idea that an anime site would suggest lots of
color, but I like the contrast and irony. Very artistic in that regard.
