Digitalosophy Logo Check

Hey, i’m not much of a master designer/logo maker. in fact this is really my first logo. i have a few versions of this but the other’s colors didn’t come out the way I wanted them to so, I trashed them.

Please let me know what you think

simple design sometimes works…but this is just TOO simple. Maybe you should add more stuff in the background.

ok thanks. this is going to be resized, so i figured there woudn’t be any need for a background. i did add the words digitalsophy underneath it. i will keep what you said in mind, thanks

i like it except for the wierd lines in the d

thanks someone else just told me that

i think it was the lines that made it less appealing, otherwise its ok

I think its a nice start. In my opp, you would want that letter to be as clear and readible as possible…though I think it also depends on the Co. and what they are about. I also wouldnt trash your old versions until your done. So not cool to try to get a look that you had before that may compliment your current design.

a few more try’s later…

it’s a bit clearer but your bevel en emboss/metallic effect really screw the logo up - try addin a bit more antialiasing or lowering the opacity of the effect…

sorry m8, but i dont like it at all, a circle and d btw in it says nothing, just a fotoshop pluggin and nothing more in giving a metallic effect, i suggest u to take a white background as if u have plans to design a business card, white is the color according to me and get something, some object it’s too blank and it shud mention ur brand name and stuff too…

well thanks, but i didnt use a photoshop plugin, and the color of my site is going to be that blue. i hate white, it’s just too plain for me. i am going to add Digitalosophy underneath

thanks for the comments

this one looks better, but i am just thinking weather the chrome will get skrewed when its bigger or smaller

well thanks, and you are correct, it looks horrible when i make it smaller, not sure what i should do :sigh:
