I haven’t given a review in a while, even though I continue my rate of 1 movie a week.
this week I saw the eventual oscar winner: FRED CLAUSE
now some of you might wonder how a guy who can get ‘jacked up’ (as is the term commonly used in fred clause by none other than…fred clause) by movies like grindhouse and 28 weeks later would choose to go see a movie such as fred clause.
one word: girlfriend.
so with that being said, my review will be in point form and will be very…concise.
GOOD
- movie was short
- vince vaughn shows the same acting skills and humor in every movie.
- there’s a really hot girl in the movie
- kevin spacey dons a superman cape and talks about clark kent (comic fans will understand this entire scene!!!)
BAD
- movie was made
- vince vaughn shows the same acting skills and humor in every movie.
- there’s only one hot girl in the movie
- has the same cliche’d storyline that is blatantly apparent in every holiday feature
- effects are horrible (ya there are effects, take a look at the elves, I swear I thought I was watching a spoof of star wars…it’s amazing how they can make a 100% cg movie and make me forget it’s cg in beowulf, but not make a human realistically look like he’s 3 feet tall).
