Inspired by SeiferTim’s “ROFLMAO People are stupid” thread I thought I’d come up with this variation.
My hope, nah dream, is that this thread becomes somewhere you can escape when your belief in mankind takes a beating, when you complain and moan all day long, and life just seems to be one big rain storm, hopefully this message of plain silly stories from our lives will make you smile again.
We’ll start off with this one…I used to have a weekend job in a camping store and I can tell you that some of the dumbest people in the world are the ones pretending to know about camping. Like the customer looking at compasses and asking “Does it work indoors?” I had to run away from him to stop me saying that no, the magnetic polarity of the globe is different cause you’re indoors, stupid. :beam:
And there’s this intresting fact you can tell people at parties. The word Kangaroo is an aboriginal word which translates as “I don’t know”. Honestly, the aboriginal to english translation of Kangaroo is “I don’t know”. Imagine Captain Cook pointing at one of those weird looking animals and asking an aboriginal warrior what it’s called and in his language he replies “I don’t know”, hence the Kangaroo got it’s name…true story by the way.
Anyone else have any stories? They don’t have to be computer based, any story will do.
