It has been many years since I have been around this forum but I am very stuck with a comp. issue and I thought of you guys since you always helped me in the past.
So a computer at my house contracted the spyware 2009 as well as a boat load of other small trojans and virus. Needless to say they are cleared. malwarebytes is installed and all should be fine except…
I can no longer get an internet connection. I went to command prompts ran ipconfig and get back the result that media is disconnected. Tried to release the IP 9a few different ways since this machine runs on vista–slowly might I add 
and everything I do tells me that my request requires elevation.
Any thoughts from anyone? My router connects, its turned on.
I pinged a few sites and it seemed fine. 4 packets sent and 4 received.
I dont know what else to do.
I would love anyones thoughts…
