Are those sort of some group of spam bots which try eliminate kirupa’s bandwidth?

I know if you visit this forum via an e-mail like hotmail they show you as a guest, perhaps that is the situation, but that is a lot of people at once with similar IPs.

Yeah it has to be some kind of bots because the viewing behavior isn’t normal. Like Rev said, some of them are reporting posts and some are emailing other forum memebers.

They’re ending up getting the login page anyway. But they are definitely eliminating the bandwidth. :-\

I think Kirupa has unlimited bandwidth, so I don’t think its a problem. :slight_smile:

If I were Kman, I would ban a few of the IP’s and see who complains… but that is me…

but if their spider bots then we don’t want to ban them. I say let them be, until they start cuasing problems…
