TechTv is the bible for computers. **

thank you for that link!

Ok windows XP supports this natively, HOWEVER your video card needs to support it too. You DONT need two video cards, just a single video card that can support multiscreening. Alternatively you could have two video cards but then that is going over the top in my opinion (Cost aside).

I have windows XP and run a Radeon 9700 Pro VC and it works a dream for me.

I know you dont NEED two cards, but I already have one and cannot afford one of the good ones that supports dual display by itself. So if I pick up a cheap 30 dollar one for my cheap second monitor I will be saving myself a ton of cash

Hey guys…sorry to bring this thread up again…but.

I found out my video card DOES support multiscreening, but it olny has one input for a screen…it does have the same exact output…but its male (has prongs) If i got an adapter for that input so my screen could plug in, do you think that would work?

…hmmm…I hope i explained that correctly. if not lemme know

thanks a bunch for you help

no garret, your card supports multiscreening but not with both monitors plugged into to it.

that means that you can buy another card and your existent card will work with the new one.

anyone used dual monitors while playing games? i mean, can you use one monitor to play games and the other to visit kirupaville?
i hate thinking about the time i´m missing on kirupaville while playing games :frowning::stuck_out_tongue: :stuck_out_tongue:
