Ok so the weirdest thing happened to me today at work, all of a sudden my forearms started getting all tingly, then my hands… my fingers eventually went completely numb and my hands were shaking like crazy,
then my face got a little tingly as well…
now, was this caused by lack of proper blood sugar? or too much… i’m not a diabetic, and this entire situation is new to me (obviously, lol)
Yea I drank beer last night instead of eating food … hrmmmm…
like, i’ll get the shakes if i haven’t eaten for a while, but this was on a WHOLE new level…
I have started a whole new eating system. I skip breakfast and lunch and instead have supper, after supper supper and whiskey time. It’s revolutionary - I think if everybody did this the world would be a better place.
Of course you were… All you had was beer the previous night. Maybe you weren’t “feeling” hungry but your body wanted some yummiez. Happens to me everyday… Well… I’m a foodie… So…
Yea, all roads point to some hypoglycemic medical jargon, was hoping someone could at least sum it up in a few words so faster won’t have to read giant articles about it lol, but i’m lazy
I have high blood pressure too (damn politics) and that’s never happened to me. Maybe it was low blood sugar. Diabetes is no joke. It makes your body consume its own organs and blood vessels. Good times.
@dan, so does this mean I’m a diabetic, but I just didnt know I was? wouldn’t really make sense, then again I know next to nothing about diabeetus, other than what wilford brimly has told me
I suggest you go and have your blood tests done. It could be nothing, but it could also be an alert for something more serious. It’s best to find out than to worry over what it might be.
And no, it doesn’t necessarily mean that you are diabetic, hypoglycemia can occur in people who do not have diabetes.
Yea, man always go to the doctor when this stuff happens… YOU LIVE IN CANADA!!!
Hmm… last time I went to the doctors I found out I can’t drink anything with too much acid (mostly can’t drink orange juice at all).
Yeah I know what you mean, last time I went to doctor for my gastritis he was like you cants haz, pizza, cheezeburgers, french fries, basically anything fried I died a lot inside, he basically wanted me to turn vegan overnight yah right.
