It’s true, though the article is possibly anti-semeticaly slanted. They fail entirely to address the benefits of our relationship with Isreal. The “lobby” as they call it is in fact citizenship of this country of one of the richest cultures on the planet. If anyone thinks that the Jewish people have no contributed to this culture both socialy and monitarily, then they are crazy. If we weren’t in bed with the Jewish people, our technology and industry would be at least 10 years behind where it is today.
All in all though… I think that the money would be much better spent elsewhere… like on education… but that’s just because I have no particular love of the Jewish culture, or captialism for that matter.
I’m pretty much with you on this one Phil. I recognize the value of the Jewish people as friends to the US… but I hardly think it outweights the heavy burden we put on our economy by being such.
ah well. I guess in the end I choose my battles. This is not one anyone is going to win, because as soon as we say we have this opinion, we are labeled antisemetic. Once you’ve got a label like that, no one will listen to you.

just like its our governments that screw over other countries and the “terrorists” are mad at us in North America. The greedy governments ruin the name of religions and cultures for their own benefits.

Its a twisted situation. If I gave you $100 because you needed it and then turned around and stuck it up my @ss, I would not give you $100 again.
There is just another game with Isreal that our administration is playing. Unfortunaitly we will never know the real reason behind these back-room deals.

the isreal lobbyists are quite powerful and that is the real reason for the BACKROOM deals , the rich make deals with the rich while middle class and poor are left to suffer. its as simple as that.
