redesigned, not fullscreen, should work even on mac (without safari) 1024/768 (keep out you 800/600 rez-bums (-:
well it is in english (most of it is not often good english…)
put some information on your splash page not everyone is curious as to go and click on the question mark
why are you restricting users from 800x600 do you know that more than 50% of the world still are on this resolution?? you do want to have people view your site dont you?
the site looks great just try and fix those two things i mentioned
hey grimdeath…
as i said earlier, he originally designed it for 12801024 and it was enough pain redesigning it for 1024768 and making it mac compatible… it would be a pain to make yet a new one for 800*600
sorry i didnt see your post but these are things you have to keep in mind when making a website thats all and he did ask for comments but like i said the website looks great just make sure for ver 2.0 you take care of these small details keep up teh good work :beam:
check http://www.thecounter.com/stats/2003/March/res.php
i won’t do it again for the remaining 5% (i’ve been masochist enough), most of the time people can go to 1024/768 (otherwise they may not have high bandwidth so it would be a pain anyway to wait for page to be loaded). most of people are lazy (to me) enough to not even change their display parameters and just zap away (these people are definitevely not my target even if they may be 80% on all internet users).
i used to do 800/600 websites and it is poststamp looking, and i’m fed up with this…(just like doing websites for 56K people).
some people (i won’t mention) even post an answer to the previous thread called “Laglouz…fullscreen mode” : fullscreen ? i did not even visit your site because of it (it was alreadyun-fullscreened since a while…)
just to say, the actual site is the fruit of a reflexion…
ahmed, you are everywhere !
seriously, for this site it is impossible to go underneath the actual rez
>grimdeath : i hope Blind skateboards will not take you to court for (ab)using their logostuff
well not everyone can afford to buy a new pc buddy and dsl and cable are not avaialable in some countries of this planet (puerto Rico) where i am at the moment which really sucks but im gonna get it soon but like i said if you want a wider audience then thats the way to go just keep in mind to make your website as userfriendly as can be youd be suprised how many people go to websites ans say what do i do?? lol
as for the stats do the math buddy you just cover 41% of the market when if you did your website at 800x600 you could have a whopping 87% now which do you think is best??? again pal its your site and you do what you wish we just come here to give you suggestions to make your site better since it is a site thats very well desgined thats all so dont take it personal
