I made a symbol out of lines. Now I want to change the shape into a different size, very thin. However, when I place in the shape tween all these lines fly out of nowhere and instead of getting a smooth tranformation I get something that looks more like a morph. I can’t make my shape into a symbol or group it or else the only tween I can do is a motion tween.
Basically, when you add a shape hint to an object that is motion tweened, you get a dot with a letter inside of it. Place the (a) dot in one symbol, then place the corresponding (a) dot in the other symbol, trying to keep the region roughly similar. In other words,
it’s like telling flash that this spot, marked with (a), should tween so that it end up in another location, marked(a), in another keyframe.
I know that’s kinda confusing, but basically marking one spot with a letter and then marking a similar spot in another keyframe with the SAME letter helps flash get a better idea of what shape region should tween to what other shape region.
