You’ll need a few things:

a Quadra or Performa ROM (find it on google or PM me )…

an OS 8.1 disk-image (no installation needed) - (search ‘os8.zip’ on google)

and Basilisk itself http://gamma.nic.fi/~lpesonen/BasiliskII/B...32_20012001.zip
Once you have them, unzip them all into C:\MAC (for convenience).
Then startup BasiliskIIGUI.exe
go to the ‘Disk’ tab. click ‘browse’. locate the disk image (.dsk or .hfv).
go to the 'Memory tab. click ‘browse’. locate the ROM.
click the ‘Screen’ tab. change screen res as you wish.
click RUN (or press F1)!!!
You now have OS8.1 up and running!
Click ‘Special>Shut Down’ to exit MacOS (this wont shut down your PC).
