If you are curious as to what I’ve been fiddling with for the past week or so, visit kirupa.com on a mobile device. Chances are, you’ll see a mobile version of the site with a slightly bolder look and (obviously) more legible text for smaller screens:
There is still some work left to be done. The search doesn’t work currently. The page also has an annoying overscroll when you view in landscape and scroll the menu up or down too much. YouTube videos need to be made mobile friendly. As @templarian pointed out on Twitter, it doesn’t work in IE. All of these issues are fixable, and I’ll get to them shortly.
Some (possibly) bad news. A lot of legacy pages don’t work well in the mobile version, but I don’t think I’m going to bother revising pages that are 3 or 5 or 10 years old.
Let me know what you all think and if there are other things with it I should improve.
