I wanted to draw something challenging and so i picked a horse…
This is a drawing of an elven warrior riding a horse. she’s on night patrol, when she finds an amazing little creature flying by the river.
It took me about 7 hours to paint in photoshop with a wacom pen. what do you think??? :-\

Phenomenal job! Just a few very small things (if you are looking for constructive feedback). They look too “cut out” almost like they were literally cut out and pasted over the background. Her legs also seem a little odd… when sitting on the horse, they ought to be bent a little more. Some additional ripples in her cloak would have also made it more realistic.
That’s all really. I think it looks absolutely gorgeous! I especially love the face and expression

Yep i know what you mean when you say that her legs are odd… i’ll try to correct it cause firstly it makes her look like she is standing on the horse and it also makes the horse look like a dwarf compared to her… Funny how i always find the flaws after i have finnished my drawings… I admit that im not a master at drawing horses, but eventualy i might learn it…
The reason that they look like a cutout might be the outline on the horse… i made that outline so that the dark areas on the horse wouldent merge with the background…
And the cape will be made a little more detailed…

very nice
the horses back seems too low though… or rather the stomach is too high - one of the two. I think the reason for this is the smaller lower dark brown spot making up the saddle. The way it arches in to the left seems to try to define the arch of the back there and if it was taken, or reshaped to allude to a higher back (entering at the the point where the green of the cape is) then it would seem more proportional visually. That and the front legs are too far forward - not enough ‘chest’, mostly on the far front leg; the closer one may be ok there, but with the outward position of the horses right fron leg (the one further in the distance) it makes the leg appear awkwardly put as with how the chest and then the neck recedes in as you follow the contour up the body. Im being picky because its good
