Actually, this story isnât soo far fetched. In my C++/Java classroom, almost all of my friends got suspended for simply accessing the internet. It didnât matter if you even surfed a web site - if the Internet Explorer browser was launched, the network admins would hear about it and get that student at that computer at that time in trouble.

My school is like, the most ungeeky school ever. Theres like, 4 geeks, and they are slowly dying out. If someone heard of PHP or AS, theyâd say âWhere can I get some?â But it does sound cool to use these as a drug.

I had an Internet Publishing class directly after that, so I didnât mind the temporary annoyance. I should have gotten in trouble also, but somehow I was lucky to have been in the class when the network admins were not logging the net usage :ub: All subsequent classes were not so lucky.
