edit: Well actually I just read your offer and OS commerce includes a shopping cart & everything right ? If so forget my post as I have no knowledge of server-side scripts yet…
Just as an update to the situation, I will need the design integrated into Os Commerce. It will all be one big shopping cart essentially. I am looking to have this project done within a week or so. The client will of course need to look over it and make changes to it. We will also be needing some custom graphics within this month to complete all the product photos.

It sounds like alot of work for the price range. This sounds like a 5-7 hr job. Most of the poeple here charge anywhere from $25-$125hr. It sounds like a great chance to show off some talent but for the price its not worth my time… Logo design can range from 100 to 200 dollars. I would say that calabor of developers here is worth way more then 100-200 dollars.
Not to side track the post or anything, I just feel bad for the person accepting the job. Sounds like alot of hassel for such a little return. I would even guess that adaptivehost is getting paid a couple thousand dollars for this site and hes out sourcing the work for dirt cheap. Then making bank off all your hard work. Am I right?

150-200 is just for the OsCommerce main site. That is just to get something up and running. The ongoing graphic work is to be an additional fee, and will be negotiated later. This site is being done for a personal friend at cost. It is a big hookup for him. I am a designer myself, I just do not have the time to do anymore at this time. So no, I am not getting a few thousand dollars, and I really hope you dont just go trolling posts accusing people of overcharging. This is a fair cost, and there seems to be plenty of interest for the job at this price.

So I wasnt “trolling posts accusing people of overcharging”. I was right and very accurate in what I said. You my friend didnt explain yourself very well. Still the hours worked to make a main site would still be out of your price cap.
