I like the gist of it, but I’d like to incorporate some type of gradient background somehow. Any suggestions?
Also: I’m not sure about the link bar or it’s font. Any suggestions?
not digging your hard angles and the serif font. the angles have a techie feel so the font should probably be a nice, tight, sans-serif, maybe compressed/conensed a little. you could make the whole layout wider and maybe play around with the header gradient a little more to give it a richer feel, maybe angle it a little or actaully use Render Lighting to give it a “lit” feel.
once you have the sans-serif fonts in there tho, i think more edits will come naturally.
I would say the biggest problem are the fonts going all the way down the page because they are switching so much. The nav might need some more space and get rid of that rollover. Instead just have text (whatever you end up choosing) change color or whatever.
I want it to have some type of special effect.
The site is already bland enough.
I’m thinking I might have to design some buttons and do a javascript rollover…
Maybe some Web2.0 glossy ones.
BTW, how does everyone feel about the term Web2.0? Is it standard now? Or am I a choad for using it?
