This is the official PC thread.
…eh why not.
Sorry, but still: ROFL
YES! I BEAT THOR!
I definately think the PC is the ultimate game console, partially because of it’s massive collection of games, and the fact that anyone can make a game for it if they have the desire, time, patience, and skill. Sadly, one downfall for the PC is that the developers have to worry about compatability issues - it’s not all the same.
PC is cool but you need a pc like mine to make the game run cool:
P2600, Ati Radeon 9800 pro, 1024 mb ram, 120 gig, 17 intc. TFT screen.
then overklocking it 0.9 gig so it’s about 3.5 ghrtz
But i think Pc is cool because it’s really easy to go online. There are not allot of exstra costs.

That is one nasty machine
Warcraft III, and WarCraft III: TFT The two best games ever…that I have played. Of course, the MechWarrior games are in a league of their own.

I own a regular PS and an Xbox, but I still play the most on my PC. FPS’s are indeed much more fun on PC than on any console; the controls are easier and it’s not hard to go online either.
But it’s just nice to own a good console as well, so you can relax in your couch in front of your TV, with a flashy controller in your hand to play some Xbox-only games (such as Halo…was.) Also, some games (such as Splinter Cell) are just a tad too hard to run extremely smooth on my pc, so I can play them on my Xbox then.
And it’s just great fun to invite some friends over and play a FIFA 2k4 tournament or blast each other in Halo
