Personalised computer

if you had your own personalised computer, what would it be like?
mine would be amost completely clear, with buttons on the front to turn on and off different hard drives and fans so they wont make a noise when i’m not using them, and have a variable dial type thing on the front to change the processor fan speed. and inside it would have loads of lights everywhere.

So post what you would have if your computer case was completely personalised, it can be slightly fictional if you want it to be.

and if you’ve actually already got your own personalised computer case, just post what stuff you have in it, or how you would improve it even more

I would rack mount my PCs… Which I am in the process of trying to figure out how I am going to do that now… I need to run 2 220v lines to my office to plug in the PDUs on the rack. Then I need to find ATX rack mount cases… =0)

Cheers!

cool.
i dont actually know what rack mounting is. is it just putting all of your computers together in one big case?

Kind of…

You get a rack usually about 7ft tall and 19inches wide, and you bolt the PCs(Or servers, network equipmet, patch panels, whatever) into the rack. Then I would run long KVM (Keyboard Video Mouse) to my desk so the monitors and switch box would be the only thing cluttering my desk… I should take a pic of my current setup its messy but funny. =0)

This is a newer version of the rack I have… (The tall one)

Cheers!

Mine would be with a very small, white case with a lot of glass work in it (but with lots of Desktop power inside) and make no noise at all. On button - Reset button, two lights: one for the HD and one for the power, hudge flatscreen… like erm… 50" or something. Wireless keyboard and mouse. Nothing fancy (except for the screen) and nothing to show off with (except, again, for the screen).

There

Oh, and also a kickass sound system that matches the case
