Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End - A Review

This review might be like the movie, long and drawn out with senseless babble.

I won’t try and reveal any spoilers since there were approx. 17,483 questions left unanswered in the second movie, Dead Man’s Chest.

Clocking in just under 3 hours, Pirates 3 is filled with amazing special effects / CG, lots of rum, tentacles (back away hentai freaks), sword fighting, rain, flying pirates and extremely intelligent animals.

However, there wasn’t alot of ‘good.’ It just sort of ceased to exist. At one point I think the total pirate count was around 4,053 while the highest Imperial / East India Trading Co, etc. count was 30.

The love story of Davy Jones was great at first. Their seemed to be some promise, however like everything else it just became too complicated. This followed throughout alot of the movie in the sense that the characters always explained how they feel instead of…feeling it and then letting the audience decide for themselves.

The ending however reversed this theme, and was a sight for sore / droopy eyes. I was very pleased with how things turned out, and I got quite of a chuckle out of it. As I said before, I don’t want to ruin it for everyone.

Also, there is a little clip after the credits in each movie. Watch them.
