Seriously if you look at the number in ones post count to determine poularity then you have got some serious issues.
I have gotten solid help before by a member who literally had 4 posts.
Well MLK as you know I have about 700 more posts than youâŚso wellâŚI am just better.

I remember that the official Java forum had an unique way to solve this problem. On its forum, it had something called Duke Dollars. You start off with, say 100 Duke Dollars. If you have a question, you would bid off 10, 20, 30 or whatever amount of D.D. for it to be answered. After you get a bunch of D.D., you can go to the Java website and redeem some prizes - just like an arcade.
I was thinking that we donât really need the prizes on Kirupa Forum, but could use the D.D. system to show who has helped out how many times. This number could be put under the avator.

Post counts mean little. They simply mean A) youâve been here longer or B) youâre a spammer 
Kirupa if you want people to actually Talk about interesting things then just post a temporary 3 month rule⌠all sensless threads (word association Thead, the Orâ Game, etc.) should be halted and all other game threads during that period will be locked
i whould believe doing that will keep people from getting such uslessly high post counts

Yeah - I donât think anything should be changed. I figure it is a lot easier to individually correct a small number of spammers than it is to punish everyone equally for the mistakes of a few :hat:
Yay. Iâm sort of glad the whole â%-in-randomâ thing didnât come back. 
I spend all my time in Random (er⌠and the Test Forum), because I suck at Flash, but I just like the people here. None of the other forums Iâve been to had this sort of community feel to them, so Iâm staying. And thereâs nothing you can do about it. :bad:
