Ok after going through the adminitrative Tools i was quite looking forward to getting the roaming account.
My Questions:
- Do I have to have windows 2000/2003 Server?
- Does it matter if I have an ordainary AMD computer on the network for the server?
My Set Up:
To have my laptop as a client the one who logs on and off accounts that are roaming. My AMD for the server to host the random accouts.
They both have Windows 2000 installed.
Reason:
After my friends came up they went onto my computer and I had to spend 1 week sorting out all the settings they have changed and messed around with. Which I didnt allow any friends into my room exept for one at a time. They all seem to want to play Cats and Dogs 5 which I brought but every time one wants to find their dogs or cats some one has deleted them or accidentaly made them run away…
So you get my reason…
Ok I dont want to use any VNC server because you just control another PC. Just using plain windows tools. (Other downloadable tools if required)
My father done this at work once on all 70 PCs… With no 2000/2003 server installed.
