I made a rounded rectangle (A rectangle with round edges) But when i delete the background and only keep the shape. The background is still there when i save it as JPG. How do I keep the shape only?
That background is there because JPG doesn’t support transparency. Use either GIF or PNG - they support transparency, with the difference that PNG supports multiple alpha levels as opposed to GIF that’s just either transparent or not. There’s a term for that transparency that PNG supports but it can’t come to my mind now.
For just a transparent border, I’d use GIF. Smaller filesize and only 2 colors are used anyway: the border color and transparent.
Thanks it really helped! :cap:
And one more thing, when you add text to an image, is it possible to give the text a hyperlink to a web page or not cos i really need to know.
From the image itself, no, but you can add a linkarea to it. That’s basically the same as the hit area of a button in Flash - a hotspot which you can link to whereever you want
OK thanx again
madeye - not to be confused with majeye…
