Ok I have to get this out of the way:
“Spider pig, spider pig! Does whatever a spider pig can!”
Simply put - The Simpsons movie was like one great and long tv episode. The gags flowed seamlessly, and there was a semi-coherent plot (which makes up for the poor quality of their new tv season). One thing to look forward to is the revelation of Bart’s weener (I guess?!). Kind of surprised that they didn’t actually include a Bono joke when they had clearly set one.But for seriously, the animation quality was up to par; though nothing special.Ooey- Greenday gets pwned, and Homer injures himself constantly - which is pretty much what you would expect.

The verdict
I walked out at the end feeling I did get my money’s worth, but it’s not a movie I would see again in cinemas like Transformers (unless I got shouted to it). Looks like that may be the last of the “blockbuster” films for this year, but luckily some more sequels are popping out like the highly lol-able Die hard 4, and the awesome looking Bourne Ultimatum. - Oh and keep an eye out next year for a remake of Get Smart, with Steve Carell.
So what did you humans think?!
