Site of the week submission

We would like www.thedarkcontent.com to be considered for site of the week.

Sincerely,
Jamie Michels & Company [email protected]

Nice professional site. Everything is very serious and all. There’s one thing that surprised me though: when you press the links of your menu, you load a background image, but in the second section, you reload them even though it’s the same image… Don’t know if it’s clear

Nice work.

pom :asian:

Thank you for your recommendation. That error has been fixed as of this morning.

It makes me think of a dark version of the Myst series… (LOVE those games…)

Snazzy! I like it!

So does Paul!

I love the backgrounds

Thank you very much! The Dark Content screensaver will be available for free download within the next couple of weeks. You’ll love the backgrounds because they fade from sepia to vibrant hues.

Sincerely,
Jamie Michels www.thedarkcontent.com

[size=1]I’m on cable, and I couldn’t get to your site, even after leaving the
window open for over a minute, I got a Server Not Found error.

I even went back some time later and it still didn’t show.

I apologize for that inconvenience. My entire hosting provider was down for a few hours but things are working at a 100% again. I hope you enjoy The Dark Content.

[size=1]i love sites that can totally throw you into a mood and encourage
thought and imagination. I felt like I was entering a new world,
very similar to the myst comment.

did you take the bg pics yourself? love em

man, i’m truly inspired again by this. Both as a writer and a
designer. I’m gonna spend some time here and read…

welp…back to the ol’grindstone [deep breath] cuz i’m ready.

thanks for the link and post…bookmarked for sure.

Thank you very much and it is because of creative people like yourself that I continue to write.
I did the backgrounds myself using a Sony min-dv camcorder. Most of the pictures were taken inside my bedroom and the brightness level set to -55% in Macromedia Flash.
The most difficult aspects surrounding The Dark Content construction were the guestbook and various backend utilities because I am always trying to perfect them and give users the most enjoyful experience that I can.

P.S. I loved your website! It will definitely be added to the links section.

Sincerely,
Jamie Michels
