I made this site today quickly for a friend, just was wanting some opinions on it. BTW I was eventually going to change the sub menu sections for XML loaded thingy and have it in a scrollable MC with pictures ect ect. Anyway the link is :

in the adoption section, you forgot some hit states on some buttons.
Unfortunately, the fact that you’ve whipped this up quickly does show, it looks a bit bland, though the drawings are cute. keep working and improving

I did see the hit’s missing on the button last night around 11 so I was a bit tired to fix them up but I will do now. I think that plain and not to complex a design was what she wanted but yeh Im goning to try and put in some extra animations.

should make a difference between plain text and navigational text.

the way you did it is not user-friendly.
