I’m starting to think some creator tools remove the wrong kind of friction. The annoying little pauses are sometimes where you notice something off, and when a tool smooths all of that away the output can get weirdly generic.
Has anyone else felt that with editors, design tools, or AI helpers? I can’t tell if I’m being nostalgic or if the friction was doing more work than we like to admit.
