I’ve got a really strange error that I can’t seem to find a solution for. I’m working on a game and when I test the game in CS5, it runs perfectly.
When I publish the game and play the created swf, the game runs FASTER. When I play the created HTML file that is created, the game runs REALLY FAST. In fact, it runs too fast to play…
My game is uses a Timer that is set to “20”. The game’s FPS setting (in CS5) is set to “45.” I have added actionscript code to set the framerate - stage.framerate = “45.”
And, when I do a trace of the framerate, the game is running at 45 FPS.
For some reason, the entire game is just sped up.
Any help on what I should would really help out! Thanks a bunch!
I’m on a Mac, using Safari if it helps.
