And just so I don’t look stupid, I’m going to add something intelligent. It’s 3:40 right now, so we’ll see how long it really takes.
Canada’s new federal budget calls for $14.3 billion in new spending with more than half of that paying for health care.
(A poll of canadians [and americans if they decided to go on a canadian news site for some reason] said that this was fantastic, but more money should be given to the military.)
Aislin’s Opinion!—>
I may have heard this on the news, or not, but either way, here’s what I think.
The Liberal Government knows their stuff, and the PM is being very careful to keep Lib’s in power. Healthcare is what canadian’s want, and they know that.
With the rediculous addition to spending, it’s being spread out over so many things, nobody can say they’re extremely unhappy.
So many things were covered, that for the Opposition to say anything about the budget, the liberals can simply say “Well, look here, to get that money you’re going to have to give up [insert very long list of worthy causes here.]”
Voila. I’m posting at 3:47. So that was 7 minutes.

Your big 5-0…0! is coming too!
I’ve been editing this post to keep my count at 500 for awhile.
OTTAWA, Feb 19 (Reuters) - The Canadian dollar pushed to its highest close in seven months against the U.S. dollar on Wednesday after Tuesday’s federal budget showed no deficit and positive prospects for growth, Finance Minister John Manley said.
God I love it when the Prime Minister argues with the Bloc Que in french. Two languages are better than one, yanks. I wonder how fluent Dubya is in spanish.
(On yahoo messenger, I am Cook. Jess would be my accomplice in making that delightful comic.)
Jess: See, I had the pants on…
Cook: laughs
Cook: pants. Jess: And I decided to wrap ductape around the legs.
Cook: moron. Jess: and then I wandered around. And then when I went to peel the ductape off, there was sticky ductape residue all around the legs. Which is not coming off, and tehy’ve now been through the washer twice. Jess: I don’t deny it. --
Cook: why would you even do that
Cook: it makes no sense Jess: Its fun ^^
Cook: duct tape is not a fashion, no matter how many retards do it.
Cook: duct tape is not a fashion, no matter how many retards do it. Jess: It was more a way of decorating my pants when I did it. Jess: and I believe it could be constituted as a fashion is people do it. I don’t know that many people who wear ductape in general, but hey.
Cook: Quit trying to sound smart, moron. Jess: cries
