This is kind of a random topic (well, it’s in Random after all), who has seen the opening scene of Resevoir Dogs?
That guy who’s talking about tipping…I coulden’t agree more.
Tipping by default is the stupidest thing in the world, I can’t belive everyone in America not only tips, but tips at least 10% :!:
You don’t tip the rubbish (garbage) man…
You don’t tip the postman…
You don’t tip doctors…
You don’t tip dentists…
So why do you tip waiters? It’s so retarded. Fair enough if they have done a really good job, and put foward more effort than any other waiter, but tipping becuase society says you should? What a load of BS.
We don’t really have valet parking in this country, but I have no idea why people would tip a valet, all they do is park your freaking car and hand you the keys…
If anyone deserves tips it’s people who actually have skills beyond serving you food (like doctors, teachers etc…). A doctor saves your life and you perhaps give them a hand shake, someone serves you a steak, you give them extra money…
If they *need *the tips to get by or whatever, they can ****ing get a better job.
Oh and btw, i’m a waiter during the uni holidays and I NEVER get tips and I get paid £5.05 per hour (pretty much minimum wage).
