Transformed my GeForce4 MX440SE into a Quadro 550XGL

Yep! A $50 MX440SE to a $1300 Quadro.
Performs quite nicely in 3dsmax

Virtually any of Quadro family cards from NVIDIA serves as an example: Quadro, Quadro2 MXR/EX, Quadro2 Pro and Quadro DCC are using the very same graphics processor units as their cheaper “gaming” brethrens.

…That’s why companies are doing their best to hide these facts, hiding GPU technical parameters under extensive list of its “new capabilities” and, of course, blocking any possibility of remaking game accelerators into their professional analogs.
