UFO in New York

I have heard of a town in New York called Pine Bush across the Hudson River that has UFO sightings everynight; Anyone ever heard of this before I waste my time driving over there/Anyone a UFO geek?

Never heard of it. I think Roswell is your place.

There’s a Pine Bush in the suburbs of Albany, NY. It’s my hometown and I have never heard of any UFO sightings in over 5 years.

That is it!! I live in Dutchess County; I was watching a program on the Discovery Channel and they mentioned this town and how almost every night you can see something in they sky; There are groups that meet every week; Just thought it was interesting. I was witness to the UFO sightings in the Hudson Valley in 1984; but I was only 5;o)

right next to Seatac airport I see these weird things EVERY night! They have these lights on them and make a kinda whining noise and kinda glide through the air… it freaks me out, I’m pretty sure they’re UFO’s

for real? or u all are kidding?

Aeroplaynes?:cross-eye:

@3d Nirvana: Actually, those would be categorized as an IFO, now that you have identified their properties.

@nokrev :lol:

[ot]@bitmtnskier: I just realized your sn is big mountain skier… I always thought it was big mt skier…

Also… why not use echo ‘“Hello World”’, rather than back-slashing those…?[/ot]

[ot]
Why did you forget the closing [ / ot] tag? Why did you say echo twice?

Why did I backslash you ask… because I wanted to :stuck_out_tongue:
[/ot]

-bigmtnskier

there are things in the air… but I’m pretty sure they are airplanes :trout:

[ot]Because I’m stupid…

Actually probably because I was about to close it, then noticed I didn’t have an echo, when I really did, added another, then forgot to finish the close.

Anyways, edited.[/ot]

Holy cow, those have got to be the absolute fakest pictures of UFOs I’ve ever seen in my life… Who DOESN’T know the slow exposure moving-light trick???

in austin we havev tonds of ufos !! lok her

UFO’s are pretty then.

actually it’s impossible to tell if those are fake. A light will produce that effect on a slow shutter speed as you are obviously aware. However it wasn’t the camera moving as we see in shots with stars in the background, or the shots with the white van. So… we have a light in the sky, moving in an erratic pattern.

what in the sky produces light that is not a UFO?
a) airplanes (can’t move in such an erratic pattern)
b) celestial objects (only move in straight or semi straight arcs)
c) people with flashlights and other lights, moving them around.

possibly these could be c). That certainly is the easiest explination and the one that I would say is likely the answer. However, just because that could be what it is, doesn’t mean that the shots are obviously fake, just that there is an obvious answer for the phenomina.

I’m not denying that these are probebly not flying saucers, I’m just stating that it’s not an obviously fake set of shots. The number of witnesses of the putnam county sightings are enough to say to me that something odd is flying around the area of putnam. I see things all the time in the night sky that have very few decent explinations. They are unidentified flying objects, because I cannot identify anything human made that could create the lights that I have seen. Likewise if I were to attempt to capture them on film, I would be forced to use a slow shutter speed and consiquently my shots would look the same as the ones on that site.

so no they are not obviously fake because of light trails. They simply are not proof of anything.

and you know… this link, which is obviously an attempt at levity

shows light trails that are OBVIOUSLY ground based objects. Though many of the shots at http://www.pinebushufo.com/pinebushpage31.htm, could be ground based, many of the shots absolutely cannot be ground based objects. One has to examine something before one can say yea or nay, and I don’t think that you guys are bothering to look at all the shots at all. You’re just stating something is fact based upon your opinion of the reality of UFO’s. Way to keep an open mind about things.

oh and just to make sure we’re on the same page. Ball lightning, which is a very real and scientifically proven phenomenon, is a UFO until someone can find evidence that it’s ball lightning. So understand that I’m not trying to prove any para (above) normal activity. Just trying to prove that UFOs (unidentified flying objects) do exist in our reality.
