Week from hell

Want to hear a story? Ok, so my girlfriend (Deirdre) got in a car accident Saturday morning. She was merging into the middle lane, and there was a girl in her blind spot. The girl swerved out to avoid her, and Deirdre swerved back into the acceleration lane, then as she looked out the window, Deirdre saw the girl coming straight for her. So the girl hit her car, but the cop drew the diagram wrong when he filled out the report and said that the accident happened in the middle lane, but it happened in the lane to the far right and it wasn’t my girlfriends fault.

Well, so my friends and I had a party saturday night, and because of what happened to her, my g/f joined us. She is an Resident Assistant in my building. She is in charge of the people on her floor, and she is supposed to be a ‘role model, and rule enforcer.’ Well we took pictures of the party and my friend wanted them so I uploaded them to his livetoskateboard.com server and I put the link in my profile. The Resident Directer of my building has my screen name because him and I are friends (were friends). He is Deirdre’s boss. He saw the pictures, and there were some of her in there, even though there aren’t any of her with alcohol, so he told her that he would either fire her or put her on probation. He decided last night that he was going to fire her. So she lost her job, and $7000, and her car was totalled.

Yeah, this has been a bad week for her. She has to decide where she is going to live and everything. Its all really bad.

My sisters boyfriend just got in a car accident as well… it was like a day after he spent mucho money to have it inspected and fixed up.

What is it with car accidents lately???

That party thing is horrible, he should have cut her some slack… he is an $!@#&(*

Man I am so sorry - that is terrible news. I hope your G/F and yourself are doing ok. Guig0 said - this is when she is going to need you most man.

Everything will be fine in the end, it’s always is darkest before the light (I heard that somewhere but it really does make sence :))

I feel for you guys. When I managed an apartment complex, that was one of my biggest worries… if I lose my job, I lose my place to live. That is a lot of pressure to put on a person.

I’ll throw my good thoughts for you guys into the cosmic jet stream (sorry, this is HippyLand, after all :stuck_out_tongue: ).

I had a huge problem a few weeks ago (not like this but still) and I seriously thought that everything was over. But I kept saying that things just work out naturally and in like a week everything just started working. :slight_smile:
I don’t want to say what it was because it’s kind of embarassing (no you sicko, not about that :stuck_out_tongue: )
