This is my second digital Sony camera and I have to say that I’m not that impressed.
Here are the big pros and cons I’ve found with it
Pros:
- it looks really high tech and further enhances my ‘professional’ image
- auto mode gives great shots and virtually anyone can take a good picture with it
- infrared is pretty cool and nights shots come out pretty good
Cons:
- reds always seem to come out over saturated
- too many switches and buttons
- built in flash is blinding even at the lowest setting
- digital zoom is useless
- you can only take good pictures with an ISO of 100

I use a Canon digital SLR with a bunch of lenses. It weighs - and costs - a lot, but I think the pictures are worth it.
How do you like that Holga, Replode? I’ve been thinking about getting one myself and maybe convert it to a pinhole. They look like fun…
Sony DSC-t1, but I think the elf S410 is better. No one needs 5 mP on a ultra compact. The pics are not good enough anyway. Just my 2cents.
