Shadowness uses mainly 3D Studio Max and Photoshop.

wow, tis guy was good. yeah its MAX brought into PS like Electron. But just a note, MAX is HARD! so be carful if you are thinking of buying or using it.
max isn’t hard, it just has a broad learning curve but with a minimal bit of messing around you can produce some nice lookin images with only the primatives and photoshop, its all in your vision and imagination.
Now Lightwave is hard phew!!!
